New Requirement: Health Declaration Form for Entry into Indonesia Amid MPOX Concerns

New Requirement: Health Declaration Form for Entry into Indonesia Amid MPOX Concerns

Since August 27, in response to the spread of the MPOX (monkeypox) virus, Indonesia requires all passengers and aircraft personnel arriving from abroad to fill out a health declaration form.

This health pass, available at sshp.kemkes.go.id, must be completed within 48 hours prior to arrival.

After completing the form, travelers will receive a QR code, which must be presented during the arrival process at the airport.

The health declaration aims to enhance safety by allowing travelers to report their health status and recent travel history.

If you become ill within 21 days after traveling or have visited endemic or affected areas, seek medical treatment at the nearest health facility and present the health pass.

This measure, effective from August 27, is part of Indonesia’s effort to contain the spread of MPOX and ensure safer travel for all.
