about
Tulamben
Tulamben is a small fishing village on the northeast coast of Bali. It is famous for its world-famous dive site, the USAT Liberty shipwreck, just off the coast.
Tulamben offers a (for some, it might be too much) peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas of Bali, which means that there are fewer amenities you may be used to from the other parts of the island.
The area is characterized by natural beauty, with the towering Agung volcano in the background and black sand beaches. Travelers who like to dive and snorkel will find Tulamben an ideal spot, as the area has several dive sites.
Besides exploring the underwater world, enjoying the sun on the beach, and taking a break from the busy parts of the island, Tulamben only has a little to offer.
