We are BaliGuide.me and we operate the website https://baliguide.me

 

To provide our services and operate our website, we process some personal data.

 

In particular, the processing of personal data is governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) ("GDPR")

1.PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

 A.  Processing of Personal Data When Using the Contact Form 

If you enquire about our services, we will work with the Contact details you provide us with, mainly via the enquiry form or online chat. These include: name, surname, e-mail.   

 

What is the reason?

 

We will use them to contact you and to further arrange the services. 

 

On what legal basis?

 

This is processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) GDPR - contract negotiation or to carry out pre-contractual measures at your request. 

 

How long will we process the personal data?

 

Unless we establish further cooperation, we will process your data for a maximum of 5 years from our last communication.

 

B. Processing of Personal Data in Case of Purchase 

 

If you make a purchase with us, we will work with the data you fill in. This is mainly data required for billing: name, surname and other data you have provided, or data that the controller has obtained as a result of the fulfillment of your order. Once again, this is generally billing data that you fill out in the order. 

 

For what reason?

 

We need to process personal data to fulfill our contract and to deliver our services to you. We will also communicate with you via the contact details provided regarding the status of your order, or regarding complaints or inquiries.

 

We will also process personal data to fulfill our legal obligations (mainly for accounting and tax purposes, or to handle complaints and other matters). 

 

On what legal basis do we process personal data?

 

The processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR - performance of a contract and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR - performance of our legal obligation. 

 

How long will we process the personal data?

 

For the duration of the performance of our service and thereafter for a period of 5 years from the last date such service was provided.

 

C. Newsletters (Commercial Communications) 

 

Unless you are a paying customer and have opted out at the time of purchase, we will send our newsletter to your email address.

 

On what legal basis?

 

Section 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll. on certain information society services allows us to do so, unless you have prohibited us from doing so at the time of purchase. 

 

How long will we process personal data?


5 years from the date of your last purchase. You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time via email or contact us at: hello@baliguide.me.

2.WHO GETS ACCESS TO THE DATA?

Your data will remain with us. However, there are select companies and persons who work for us who have access to the data because they help run our website. These include:

 

  • The provider of the Wix Web Platform (Wix.com Ltd., located at Namal Tel Aviv 40, 6350671 Tel Aviv, Israel)

  • Companies involved in the dispatch of payments (Stripe Technology Europe, Limited, based at The One Building, 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin 2, Ireland)

  • E-mailing service provider (Wix.com Ltd., located at Namal Tel Aviv 40, 6350671 Tel Aviv, Israel)

3.WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW NEXT

We do not have a designated data protection officer. 

 

Our company makes decisions based on automated processing or profiling.

You can object to processing on the basis of legitimate interest. 

 

If you believe that we are not handling your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority or take your claims to court.
